Do you know how old this historical Bahu Fort is?
Bahu Fort is the oldest fort and edifice in Jammu City . I was built by Raja Bahulochan over 3000 years ago on a rock face on left bank of river Tawi. This Fort was more recently improved and built by Dogra rulers. Still the construction depicts the scene of historical wars that were fought here
A temple of Goddess Kali well known as "BAWE WALI MATA TEMPLE " is situated inside this fort . Lots of devotees come here to worship the Goddess .
